I am a happy mother of three. I have two sons and a daughter. My journey to conscious eating and a conscious lifestyle has gifted me experience, knowledge and challenges. I studied Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and have undergone further training in nutritional counselling in Estonia. I learned in The Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health to become Nutritional Therapist.

Food allergies, intolerance to many foods, a pollen allergy, asthma and atopic dermatitis have all plagued my child and have required monitoring of his diet and lifestyle for many years. Today, these concerns are under control. In the past, I didn’t understand how important the role of the right food and the right lifestyle was in different situations; I couldn’t make specific links between diet and health. I only followed what was written in leaflets, but in 2010 it turned out that not everything is black and white when for a time the lives of me and my family disappeared into something of a haze – time stood still, filled with nothing but uncertainty.

My other child was diagnosed with lymphoma – more precisely Hodgkin's lymphoma. All of my existing health-related knowledge proved worthless. That time was a turning point in my life, because after ‘waking up’ I realised that alongside the doctor I could contribute a lot to help my son. His treatment lasted for four months, with four different chemicals, and countless analgesic, anti-nausea and other medications. During his treatment I focused on researching healthy diets as much as I could to pinpoint foods and menus that would contribute to healing, both during treatment and afterwards. The results spoke for themselves.

Throughout the process, the causes of my older son's health problems became clear to me and I was only able to help him through changes in lifestyle and daily menu. As a result, he now feels almost healthy.

In late summer 2014 the same kid who just has recovered from previous disease was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare autoimmune disease which paralysed most of his body in just two weeks and which was accompanied by unprecedented nerve pain. Even though this experience did not seem to be real life at the time, and in some ways paralysed our minds as parents in terms of how to help our child, the moment he was diagnosed we focused almost round the clock on determining the diet and lifestyle that would be best for such an autoimmune disease. We once again saw how important the role of conscious eating and a conscious lifestyle is to a child's condition in order for it to improve more rapidly. In addition to conscious eating, proper and adequate physical activity played a huge role – and conscious choices remain a large part of our everyday lives.

In 2019 spring I was diagnosed Fibromyalgia. Different strange symptoms like joint and muscle aches and fatigue sent me several years already and as physically I was fine, all tests came out clear, so I was like pretending all these symptoms :). After having strong pain attack during a vacation trip I finally went to the rheumatologist who took time to listen to me, did several test needed and finally put the diagnose. I should say I was really happy and thankful (I still am), it was a great relief to understand what was going on.

Through these experiences and the knowledge I acquired I have reached my audience today. I now focus mainly on the role of conscious eating and lifestyles in the case of digestive disorders, autoimmune diseases and fibromyalgia.

It is obvious that every special menu is based on individual needs, wherein a number of factors need be taken into account at the same time.
